In Buffalo, the breakfast crowd peaks on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so a weekday visit or an early arrival avoids the line. Check the listing for hours, whether the restaurant takes reservations and its Google rating and reviews, and note that many diners are cash-friendly but nearly all take cards. Counter seating usually moves faster than a table for one or two.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Buffalo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Nice NY style deli in a convenient location downtown. I showed up during the lunch rush without ordering ahead, and I got my food in around 5 minutes. I had the lunch special, chicken schwarma and a tuna pasta salad, but excellent. Big portions and fair prices, especially with the special combo price. Staff was very friendly and helpful too!

I order from Sues all the time. They have a website for orders and its very convenient. Their Roast Beef is great and the chocolate chip cookies are some of the best around. Super people and highly recommended.

This is an awesome spot for lunch. Their menu is predominantly Mediterranean/Greek but they have the usual soups, salads and sandwiches too. They are open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays. Be on the lookout for the daily specials. My all time favorite is the Avocado Wrap it may seem unassuming but wait until you try it.
